Dr. Wee Chian Koh
Senior Economist
Dr. Wee Chian Koh joined AMRO in February 2023 and serves as the desk economist for
Malaysia and back-up economist for Japan. Before AMRO, he was Senior Researcher and
Head of Economics and Finance at Brunei’s Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies,
working on economic surveillance and policy research across fiscal issues,
diversification, productivity, unemployment, energy, transport, trade, and SME
development, and also sat on the Brunei Macroeconomic Development Committee.
From 2018 to 2022, he worked with the World Bank on commodity market surveillance
and global economic research, publishing over 100 articles, papers, and chapters. Dr.
Koh holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Australian National University, an M.Sc. in
Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics, and is a certified
Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
Mr. Niall Emmet Farmer
Head,
Appointed Head of Projects for Gamuda Land UK in 2022, he has led the purchase of four
major London developments—75 London Wall, Marshgate Lane Student
Accommodation, Press House Student Accommodation, and City Wharf Student
Accommodation. These acquisitions have strengthened Gamuda Land’s presence in the
market and helped grow the UK team. Before this role, he managed large urban
regeneration projects across the UK and played an important part in Lendlease UK’s
Stratford Cross and Tottenham High Road West projects. With strong experience in both
residential and commercial development, and a solid understanding of the UK market,
he is well equipped to drive Gamuda Land’s growth in the UK.
Denise Cheok
Head of Southeast Asia Economics
Denise Cheok is an Assistant Director and economist at Moody’s Analytics in Singapore.
She is responsible for forecasting and analyzing economies across the Asia-Pacific
region. Denise is also responsible for baseline and scenario forecasting and narrative
development. She is regularly quoted in media such as Reuters, the Business Times, the
Straits Times and Bernama. Denise holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the
National University of Singapore, and a master’s degree in Economics from the University
of British Columbia. Prior to joining Moody’s Analytics, Denise previously worked as a
trade policy economist at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation.
Dato’ Seri Azmir Merican
Group Managing Director and CEO,
Dato’ Azmir Merican is the Group Managing Director of Sime Darby Property Berhad,
Malaysia’s leading developer of landed homes and a key player in industrial and logistics
properties, with international presence including London’s iconic Battersea Power
Station. He has extensive leadership experience, having previously served as CEO of UEM
Edgenta Berhad, where he led multi-country mergers and transformed the company into
an award-winning services firm leveraging IoT, data analytics, and AI. He also held senior
roles at UEM Group, AWC Berhad, and in investment banking and corporate advisory.
Dato’ Azmir holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Finance) from Haworth
College of Business, Western Michigan University, USA.
Mr. Jacob Lee
President
Mr. Jacob Lee is the President of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM), where
he plays a key role in advocating for the growth, competitiveness, and sustainability of
Malaysia’s manufacturing sector. With extensive industry experience, he actively
represents manufacturers’ interests in policy dialogue with the Government and relevant
stakeholders, focusing on issues such as industrial development, talent, sustainability,
and global competitiveness. Under his leadership, FMM continues to strengthen its role
as the voice of the manufacturing industry, supporting businesses in navigating
economic challenges and driving long-term industrial progress.
Dato’ Ho Hon Sang
President
Datuk Ir. Ho Hon Sang is the Group Managing Director of Mah Sing Group Berhad and the
President of the Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association (REHDA) Malaysia. A
professional engineer by training, he is a highly respected industry leader with extensive
experience in property development, construction, and corporate leadership. He plays a
key role in advancing sustainable development, strengthening industry standards, and
driving collaboration across Malaysia’s property and housing sector.
Mr. Arnaud Girodon

Mr. Arnaud Girodon is the Chief Executive Officer of Datai Hotels and Resorts Sdn Bhd
(DHR), a role he has held since 2019 alongside his tenure as General Manager of The
Datai Langkawi for nearly a decade. Under his leadership, The Datai Langkawi has
become a global benchmark for natural luxury, renowned for its commitment to
sustainability, conservation, exceptional guest experiences, and culinary excellence. As
CEO of DHR, Arnaud now leads the strategic development and expansion of the Datai
brand, with a strong focus on Southeast Asia, while continuing to champion the resort’s
values of understated elegance, visionary architecture, and authentic Malaysian
hospitality.
Jing Jun Heng
Director
Jing Jun (JJ) is part of CBRE’s Asian Services team in the Chinatown office, specialising in
the sale of retail, commercial, and development properties across Victoria. With strong
multicultural knowledge of both the Australian and Asia-Pacific markets, he connects
clients to active investors through CBRE’s extensive regional network, particularly in
Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, and has worked with a wide
range of clients including high-net-worth individuals, private families, institutions, and
local and overseas developers.
Prakash Nagarajan
Managing Director
Prakash Nagarajan is Business Director and Co-Founder of Bradshaw & Mitchell Pte. Ltd.,
currently based in Singapore. He brings over 19 years of senior management experience
in strategic business development, economics, investment advisory and facilitation, as
well as general management across Southeast Asia, North America, and Canada. Having
built a distinguished career with multinational organisations such as LexisNexis Group,
Thomson Reuters, and TMF Group, Prakash most recently served as Vice President of
Economics & Investment at Iskandar Regional Development Authority in Malaysia. His
expertise spans investment and reinvestment advisory, people and talent management,
value chain diversification, entity structuring, and government incentives and enablers.
Leonard Tay
Head of Research
Leonard brings over 20 years of real estate experience, offering sharp insights on market
trends that make him a trusted voice for local and regional media. His background spans
cross-sector research, consultancy advisory, and tenancy administration, with past roles
at CBRE, Colliers International, the Housing and Development Board, and lecturing
positions at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers.
Sunphol Sorakul
Partner & Director
Sunphol Sorakul is a Partner at Foster + Partners and Director of Foster + Partners
(Thailand), currently leading the firm’s Bangkok office. Since joining the practice in 2004,
he has led multidisciplinary teams on major mixed-use, commercial, residential,
hospitality, and masterplanning projects across Thailand, China, Vietnam, the UAE, and
the UK, including landmark developments such as The Forestias in Bangkok, ICD
Brookfield Place in Dubai, Bund Finance Centre in Shanghai, and ICONSIAM. With
extensive international experience, Sunphol brings a deep understanding of local
cultures, on-site delivery, and sustainable, human-centric design to large-scale urban
developments.
Jeffrey Teoh
Managing Director and Head of Wholesale Banking
Mr Jeffrey Teoh Nee Teik is responsible for building the wholesale banking practice of
OCBC Bank, aiding customer growth both domestically and regionally. His role includes
overseeing the Corporate, Commercial, Financial Institution and Transaction Banking
segments of the Bank. Mr Teoh joined the Bank in 2003 initially to lead the Enterprise
Sales & Marketing team, but later became the catalyst for transforming its commercial
banking business as well. In 2007, he was promoted to Head of Commercial Banking
before taking on the additional responsibility of leading the Large Corporates team as
well in 2014.
Datin Christina Toh
President
Datin Christina Toh began her sales career in the hospitality industry with Holiday Inn
Penang before moving on to the former Regent Hotel Kuala Lumpur, and has since built a
distinguished career spanning over 30 years. A highly respected and strategic leader
known for her dynamic management style, she joined Dorsett Kuala Lumpur as General
Manager in 2001, was appointed Area General Manager in 2017 based at Dorsett Grand
Subang, and is currently the Chief Strategy Officer (SEA) for Dorsett Hospitality
International. Actively involved in industry leadership, she has served on the Board of the
Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) since 2002 and made history in May 2022 as its
first female President, a role she now serves for a second term, while also contributing at
regional and international levels as a Board Member of Tourism Malaysia, Treasurer of the
ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA), and 2nd Vice President of the ASEAN Hotel &
Restaurant Association (AHRA). A passionate hotelier, Datin Christina holds an MBA in
Hospitality Management and the Certified Hospitality Administrator (CHA) designation
from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI), along with numerous
industry accolades.
Bryan Chan
Vice President
Bryan Chan is Vice President, Development for South East Asia & Korea at IHG®, where
he leads the strategic expansion of the group’s hotel brands across the region. Based in
Singapore, he brings over 15 years of deal-making experience across hospitality, real
estate, infrastructure and finance, having previously held roles at Sumitomo Mitsui
Banking Corporation and Morgan Stanley. Since joining IHG in 2014, Bryan has
progressed through senior development leadership roles across multiple markets and
worked on major international projects. He holds an M.A. in International Relations from
Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California,
Berkeley.
Ms. Tan Lindy
Executive Director
Ms. Tan Lindy is the Executive Director of BCB Berhad, a position she has held since 2008,
overseeing the Group’s property development portfolio with a strong focus on Johor and
the Klang Valley. A Bachelor of Commerce (Economics & Business Law) graduate from
the University of Melbourne, she is widely recognised for driving BCB’s growth through
flagship developments such as Elysia Park Residence, Concerto North Kiara, Hometree
Kota Kemuning and Versis Commercial. Actively involved in industry leadership, she
currently serves as Deputy Chairman of REHDA Johor, a National PPS Committee
Member of REHDA Malaysia, Chairman of REHDA Johor’s Policies Sub-Committee, and
is a founding member of DECCO+, an industry platform uniting developers, consultants
and contractors in Johor. Ms. Tan is also a frequent contributor to local and international
forums and media, including participation in the Global Cooperation and Training
Framework (GCTF) Women Economic Empowerment programme in Taiwan.
